One short form: your contact details, the areas you can cover, the languages you speak, your experience, the services you offer and the equipment you have.

- We use them only to verify who you are before the interview, and delete them within 90 days of a decision.

Interview

We email you a time, a video link and a calendar invite. If the time doesn't work, ask for another one from the link in the email.

Reliable transport
A working vehicle that gets you and your equipment to jobs across Los Angeles and Orange County.
Your own equipment
A pressure washer, vacuum, water tank, towels and the products for the services you offer.

You're the face of The Rabbit Wash at the door: punctual, courteous and careful with customers' property.

Getting Started
How long does the application take?
About 5 minutes. One form: your contact details, the areas you can cover, your experience and equipment, plus a photo of your ID and a profile photo.
Do I need previous detailing experience?
It helps, but it isn't required. Tell us what you've done and what you can offer, and we'll talk it through at your interview.
What happens after I apply?
We invite you to a 20-minute video interview by email, with a time, a video link and a calendar invite. If the time doesn't work, you can ask for another one from the link in the email.
How fast will I hear back?
We aim to decide within 2–3 business days after your interview, and you'll hear from us either way.
Where do you operate?
Across Los Angeles and Orange County, with priority for South Bay cities. See every city on Service areas.
Payments & Taxes
How much do I keep?
A share of each job's price after any discounts. Tips are separate and 100% yours.
How do I get paid?
Through Stripe. Your available balance is paid out weekly by default, every Monday, or you can cash out instantly when your Stripe account supports instant payouts.
Do you take a cut of tips?
No. 100% of every tip goes to the Rabbit who did the job.
Am I an employee?
No. Rabbits are independent contractors. You set your own hours, choose which offers to accept and use your own equipment. The Rabbit Wash is the booking platform that brings you the jobs.
How are taxes handled?
As an independent contractor you handle your own taxes. If your earnings cross the IRS reporting threshold, you'll receive a 1099.
Equipment
What gear do I need to start?
A pressure washer, a vacuum, a water tank, towels and the products for the services you offer. List what you have on the application.
Do I need my own vehicle?
Yes. You need reliable transport that can carry your equipment to jobs.
Do I need insurance?
We recommend carrying your own commercial auto and general-liability insurance. Ask us about it at your interview.
Schedule & Dispatch
Can I work part time?
Yes. Set your weekly hours and service area in the Rabbit app, go online when you want offers, and decline any job that doesn't fit.
How does dispatch decide who gets a job?
Each offer goes at the same time to every online Rabbit who covers the address and is free at that time, ranked by distance, rating, recent workload and tier. The first Rabbit to accept gets the job and it disappears for everyone else. If nobody accepts in time, the offer expires and our team takes it from there.
What happens if I cancel a job?
Cancel it in the app as early as you can: open the job, tap Cancel job and pick a reason. The job goes right back on the board for other Rabbits. Cancellations show on your record, and repeated late cancellations or no-shows can lead to a review of your account.
