Rabbit Partner Terms

For Rabbit applicants and Rabbits.

You accept these terms by ticking the box on the application's review step. The box is never pre-ticked, and you cannot apply without it. The date, time and version you accepted are recorded with your application.

Your Relationship With RabbitWash

As a Rabbit:

  • you decide whether and when to make yourself available, and which job offers to accept or decline;
  • you use your own vehicle, equipment and supplies, at your own cost;
  • you decide how to perform the work, within the service booked by the customer, the checklist for that service, safety rules and the law;
  • you are free to provide services to others, including through other platforms or your own business, and to advertise your own business;
  • you are responsible for your own business expenses, licenses, permits and taxes.

Nothing in these terms requires a minimum number of hours or jobs.

Applying

You must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license if you will drive to jobs, and have the right to work in the United States.

The application asks for:

  • your name, email, phone number, home address and an optional second address, languages and whether you want full-time or part-time work;
  • a code sent to your phone, to verify your number;
  • your agreement to these terms and the Privacy policy;
  • your experience and the services you offer;
  • a photo of your driver's license and a profile photo;
  • your Social Security number, which is stored encrypted and is not used to run any background screening without your separate written authorization;
  • if you have a vehicle for work, its year, make and model, a photo of your auto insurance card and, if you have it handy, your vehicle registration;
  • optional photos of your equipment.

After you apply, you may be invited to a short video interview. We aim to decide within a few business days, but this is not guaranteed. Approval is at RabbitWash's discretion, consistent with applicable law, including anti-discrimination law. Each phone number can be used for one application. Give accurate information. False or misleading information is a reason to decline an application or deactivate an account.

Background Screening

A consumer report will only be requested after you receive a separate, stand-alone disclosure and give written authorization, as required by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and California's Investigative Consumer Reporting Agencies Act (Civil Code section 1786 and following). That disclosure will name the agency and explain the scope of the report and how to get a copy. Your Social Security number is shared with a screening agency only after that authorization, and the agency may ask you for other details, such as your date of birth, directly. If RabbitWash is considering not approving you, or deactivating you, based on a report, we will first give you a copy of the report, a summary of your rights and a chance to respond, and will follow any applicable fair-chance laws, including those of the City and County of Los Angeles.

Providing your details on the application does not mean that any screening has been run or completed. RabbitWash does not tell customers that a Rabbit has been screened unless screening has actually been completed.

Your Vehicle, Insurance And Equipment

Vehicle. If you drive to jobs, you must keep a valid driver's license, a lawfully registered vehicle and at least the auto insurance required by California law, and give us an updated insurance card when it renews or changes.

Insurance. RabbitWash recommends that you carry your own commercial auto and general liability insurance that covers your work as a Rabbit. These terms do not give you any insurance for you, your vehicle, your equipment or your work. You are responsible for insuring yourself, including against injury to yourself.

Equipment and supplies. You supply the equipment and products for the services you offer, such as a pressure washer, vacuum, water tank, towels and products. Customers are told that Rabbits bring their own water, power and products, so plan accordingly. Keep your equipment safe and in good working order and use products as their manufacturers direct.

Skills. You can ask to be verified for additional services, such as detailing, ceramic coating, paint protection film or paint correction. RabbitWash staff decide which services you are verified for, and you will only be offered jobs for verified services.

Water and runoff. Follow state and local rules on water use and wash-water discharge, including rules that prohibit letting wash water, soap or chemicals run into storm drains. You are responsible for any fine caused by how you perform the work.

Job Offers And Acceptance

You can set your service radius or city, your weekly hours and whether you are online. RabbitWash offers jobs to Rabbits who are online, verified for the service, nearby and free at that time. Each offer goes to all of those Rabbits at the same time, listed in an order based on factors that include distance, ratings, how recent work has been shared out, your tier, local demand and your recent acceptance rate. The first to accept gets the job, and the offer is removed for everyone else. Each offer shows how long you have to respond. If nobody accepts in time, or the start of the job is near, the offer expires and is not shown again unless RabbitWash sends it out again.

Once you accept a job, you are expected to complete it as booked. If you cannot, cancel it in the app as early as possible (see Cancelling A Job below), or contact RabbitWash support at rabbittech@rabbitwash.com, so the customer can be helped. If you have not tapped On My Way in time to reach the job, it may be released automatically and offered to other Rabbits, and you will be told. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows can lead to a review of your account.

Cancelling A Job

If you cannot do a job you accepted, cancel it in the app as early as you can: open the job, tap Cancel job and pick a reason (car trouble, running late on another job, sick or emergency, or something else, with an optional note). You can cancel until you start the wash; once it is in progress, contact RabbitWash support at rabbittech@rabbitwash.com instead.

When you cancel, the job goes right back on the board for other Rabbits as a priority offer, and it is not offered to you again. The customer is told only when another Rabbit accepts it. Cancellations show on your record: each one is logged with the reason you gave and counts on your scorecard. RabbitWash staff are alerted when a job is cancelled close to its start or when a Rabbit cancels often, and repeated late cancellations or no-shows can lead to a review of your account.

Doing The Work

When you accept a job, you see the customer's name, service address, vehicle, booked services and booking notes. After assignment you can also message the customer in the app and see their phone number.

On each job:

  • tap On My Way when you leave and I'm at the location when you arrive; your live location is shared with the customer only while you are on your way;
  • check the address, the booked package and that the vehicle is accessible;
  • take before photos of the vehicle before you start, and after photos of the finished work before you complete the job; the app requires both;
  • work through the service checklist and only do the work the customer booked and paid for;
  • ask the customer to sign off at handover, or record why they did not;
  • note anything RabbitWash should know, such as existing damage, a step you skipped and why, or a safety concern.

Do not charge customers directly, accept cash for jobs booked through RabbitWash, or agree to extra work outside the app. If a customer wants more work, ask them to book it or contact support.

Customer property. Treat the customer's vehicle and property with care. Do not drive, move or use the vehicle unless the booked service requires it and the customer has agreed. Do not go through or remove personal items. If something valuable is left in the vehicle, leave it where it is and tell the customer. Do not take photos other than those needed for the job record.

Safety And Conduct

You must:

  • follow the law, including traffic, safety, environmental, consumer and anti-discrimination laws;
  • treat customers, other Rabbits and staff with respect, and never harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
  • never work under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

In an emergency, call 911 first, then tell RabbitWash support as soon as you can.

Pay And Tiers

Tiers. New Rabbits start at Starter. RabbitWash staff set your tier. Your tier moves up with completed jobs and ratings. A new tier applies to jobs you accept after the change.

Tips. Customers can tip after a job is completed. You receive 100% of every tip. If a booking is refunded, tips on that booking are held for staff review.

Cancellations. Earnings are added when a job is completed. You do not receive a share of a customer's late-cancellation fee.

Payouts

Payouts are made through Stripe Connect. To be paid, you must set up a Stripe account and accept Stripe's own terms. Your bank details are stored by Stripe, not RabbitWash.

Your available balance is sent to your bank account every Monday (Los Angeles time). Stripe may take a few business days to make new earnings available. Where offered, you can cash out instantly for a Stripe instant payout fee, shown on your payout receipt. Your bank's processing time may add delays.

Damage And Claims

If a customer reports damage or a problem with your work, RabbitWash will tell you and ask for your account of what happened. Staff review the evidence, including your before and after photos, checklist and notes, and decide on any remedy for the customer.

You agree to cover RabbitWash's reasonable losses from a third-party claim caused by your wilful misconduct, gross negligence or breach of law, to the extent the law allows. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by RabbitWash's own fault.

Ratings And Your Account

Customers can rate jobs, and you can leave a private rating of a customer, visible only to you and RabbitWash staff. Your portal shows your rating and job history.

RabbitWash may pause (deactivate) your account for:

  • serious or repeated breaches of these terms;
  • safety concerns, harassment, discrimination or violence;
  • fraud, theft or dishonesty, including false information on your application;
  • repeated late cancellations or no-shows after you have been told about the problem;
  • an expired license or insurance that these terms require;
  • a consumer report result, after the screening steps described above.

You can stop being a Rabbit at any time by going offline and asking us to close your account.

Customer Information And Confidentiality

RabbitWash's non-public business information, such as pricing rules, dispatch settings and internal tools, is confidential. Do not share it.

Text Messages

When you give us your mobile number on the application or in the portal (a consent notice is shown wherever you do), you agree to receive automated text messages from RabbitWash at that number about your application and your work, including:

  • application verification codes;
  • job offers, leave-by reminders, released-job notices and skill decisions.

Message frequency varies with your activity and the offers available. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help, or contact rabbittech@rabbitwash.com. You can also turn off SMS job alerts in your notification preferences, and you will still see offers in the portal or app. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of applying or of being approved. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Disputes

Talk to us first. Contact rabbittech@rabbitwash.com about any problem. Before starting a formal claim, either side sends the other a written notice describing the dispute, and both sides try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.

Exceptions. Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Nothing here stops you from filing a claim or complaint with a government agency, such as the California Labor Commissioner, the Civil Rights Department, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or the National Labor Relations Board, or from taking part in an agency investigation.

Governing law. California law governs these terms. Claims are decided in the courts in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes And General Terms

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms do not limit any right you have under law that cannot be waived.
